We stayed at a Homewood Suites in Jackson the night before which was phenomenal. So the smell and condition of the room and hotel in Mobile was extremely disappointing! Worn out bed and missing hair dryer as well as coffee maker was a big let down. The staff were nice and went to another room to get the missing items for me. The halls did not smell good as well. I believe the overuse of sprays to cover up bad smells just created an overwhelming strong odor. The hotel is in a great location. The hotel just needs remodeled and updated. So paying the same price as the hotel the night before was frustrating.

Its location was great! For travels going through town the front desk is only manned till 2300, which is a disadvantage if you don’t make it on time. For the type of hotel, it was way overpriced.

The breakfast was great! Lots to choose from on the breakfast menu. On day 2 they were out of some of the condiments but I under stand things happen. The breakfast staff could smile more and act the part. They were not rude but not morning people I assume.
